Some of our songs are about relationships, like Tiny Room and Angel Boy which are about Kathryn's relationship with her two sons when they were much younger. Miss Him is about our relationship with our dads. Actually it's more about our state of mind after they're gone.

The vocals were recorded in one take, probably because Dan could see we were both on the edge of falling apart.

When you're in a vulnerable state you want to surround yourself with friends that you trust. That's one of the reasons we have Simon (piano) on this track.
